My application was mailed on December 2nd, 2016, my attorney received the receipts on December 15th, 2016 and my biometrics appointment is scheduled for February 21st, 2017.

My husband applied for his U visa on December 18, 2014 and received a confirmation recite on December 23, 2014. His biometrics done on March 6, 2015. Then not until January 22, 2017 did we receive a G-28 form this is a verification of information pertaining to our lawyer, which we filed on January 30, 2017. It's now been a month and haven't heard anything yet. Getting very concerned with all the deportation taking place recently, as I'm sure most of you are. Hopefully we will all hear something very soon.

Hi BOB,

EAD which come in category of C14 is the one which you get after DA. So, I apply for separate I-765 after getting DA.

I have sent one I-765 with I-918 & I-912 at the time of the U visa application. That is for the U visa work permit which comes under different category.

hm... I didnt apply for I765 at start i apply only i918,i912 and for my wife i765 (a20).
Probably i should apply now for I765 c14 so i can expect my EAD early before i approve U visa
