  • U Visa deferred action questions

Im new to this forum. I received a letter from USCIS stating that the reason my DACA renewal was denied was because they gave me deferred action on Oct. 19, 2016. I applied for the u visa on July 28, 2014. My question is, do I have to file for the I-765 again to get the EAD if I already sent one with the U-visa application when I initially filed? I'm a bit confused. Thanks y'all

I thought if you filed before May 2015 you didn't have to file twice on the I765. Also, I never received the actual letter saying I've been granted DA. Only the letter that states why my DACA renewal was denied. Do I call and ask them to send me another DA granted letter?
