    Hi everyone I have a question,I have a friend that comes to a America on a work program with some other guys but one of them try to fight him and threatened him that when he go back home he is going to kill him,and then my friend intended not to go back home can he applied for a u visa?

    Hi,

    Did you friend made a police complaint here in US? The offender got arrested? Did your friend supported Law Enforcement Agency?

    If you have answer Yes to above questions than he might be eligible to apply. Before applying to U visa one should get U-Certification from Law Enforcement Agency. Hope this helps. Sorry to hear about your friend.
