honestly, nobody can tell you this... it's impossibly hard to predict it right now. When I applied in April 2015 everybody kept telling that waiting time is 1 year, but I am waiting 2 years and still long way ahead... people wait almost 3 years for DA right now, but its hard to estimate how long it will take for someone applied in 2016.

By January 2019. Could be few months plus or minus. It took me 28mnths. I am aug 2014.

I wouldn't be as sure, it may be 3 years, but it also may be much longer. You can't say for sure. He applied 2,5 year after you so he may wait muuuuuch longer than you because each month from 2014 backlog is bigger and bigger. How can you all predict the date if uscis last whole year processed applications from only few months..... just as some people wait 1 year, some wait 2,5 year, so I others may wait even 4 years....it's all depend on the time when someone applied. Right now it's hard to really predict the time frame of cases from 2016-2017!
