Why would someone need H1B visa if they get DA or actual U visa ?

I think you can apply for H1B. I have reverse situation. I am on H1b and waiting for my DA on U visa, I have asked my lawyer and he said you can have multiple application.

        Thanks for reply.
Anyway, i am wondering about because, we U visa is better, but now thing is, it is taking so many years till you receive u visa and get GC. If someone able to apply for H1B on DA approval while waiting actual U-Visa, and later on apply for GC, than may occur, that can get GC sooner.

yes it is better , now they're taking forever to renew EAD from DA also so its always better to have H1B so you don't loose your job.
