Hi everyone I have a question about the crime happened lately with me in May 2015 , and i filed my u visa petition in Jan 2017 since crime was happened 2 years back is it gonna expedite my case processing or not ? Your advice and opinion are really appreciated...

Yes you can. But cause of U visa backlog you have to wait 4-5 years to get ur DA. People from 2014 still waiting to be placed on Wait list and get their DA.
Since u recently applied, I would say give it a month more and then check back online and then you could see ur status online.U visa Application date: March 10, 2015
