2015 Nov-Dec Applicants - Status

Anyone applied in Nov or Dec 2015 and have any feedback?
As of April, 2017 it is 16 months (1.4yrs) and I have not heard from USCIS about any possible DA notice.


Timeline:
Applied I-918: November 15, 2015
I-918 Receipt Notice: Received November 22, 2015
Biometrics: December 22, 2015

The last known USCIS DA approval was issued for application date filed on August 19th, 2014, as per this forum. My application was filed October 2014 with no response as yet on DA. You may need to wait another year or so before you will get a response from USCIS. USCIS is moving painfully slow, but they are getting there with every approval. Hope we all can hear something real soon.

I know it's tough. I came here with an F1 and that was terminated back in january 2015. My gf is a Green Card holder. If I don't get DA by this year, then should I get married and apply.. or wait till she gets her citizenship?

I lost my leg due to this crime in 2014, filed August 2015 did bio January 2016 and still waiting nothing yet, can't even go to my doctors appointment cause can't get drivers license so fustrated

mahesh60 -> I'm sorry to learn that you lost your leg! That is very horrible and far worse than what happened to me. I hope your application gets processed and you get adequately compensated for the crime, although it is not sufficient for loosing a leg.

you are correct Hussain, USCIS is taking longer time to issue DA and longer time to issue U visa. I waited for 2 years just to be placed on DA and still awaiting to get final U visa. with new policy on U visa, i think it will take atleast 2 years or more to get an actual U visa after DA.
my time line:
June 13th 2014 U visa application
Bio Metric August 2014
DA June 14 2016
EAD for two years August 31st 2016
still awaiting for the final U visa
