u visa application received 10-28-2013. asked RFV 07-2014, immediately submitted. online status changed ro "we recived RFV on 14-12-2014" DA granted jan 2015, form i-765 submitted, got Ead may 2015. for 2 years, last week ead sent for renewal waiting for u visa. still online status same as above mentioned

I have noticed on this forum that ppl who applied in DEC 2013 are getting U visa approvals. You should have got U visa approval by now. Did you check with your attorney? RFV?

Yes, you are right scorpion, I noticed too, unfortunately for me so far no any good news, I checked with my attorney he is telling only waiting is option, actually not RFV, RFE(request for evidence)by mistakely typed RFV, I don't know how many months or years to wait? Thank you for your reply

Its very close for you , or by any chance they may considered your application incomplete and using the 12/14/2014 date as your receipt date instead of the 10/28/13 when you summited the RFE ?
The thing is they act very secretly love n order to protect victims and that affect us in getting up to date info .

Trump this means his application date went back from Oct 2013 to Dec 2014? Really? This is how they work, are you sure about this? Because his application went back one year, you know how long he has to wait for this one year?..This is beyond imagination..

My question is why have you not yet received U visa? Since you have applied in OCT 2013. Ppl getting U visas who applied in DEC 2013.
I am worried as my application date is JAN 2014.

About USCIS , no body is sure about nothing regarding U visas

I just considering and exploring the possibility since it is in their rules that in some cases they don't grant the receipt date until the application fulfill some requirements , and also they can expedite the process of others .
Hope and patience is the only way across this ordeal , Im between this and the next FY since I apply early Feb/2014 and receive DA 10/01/2015 , 3 years waiting and counting .
Its this going to be the year ? I don't really know.
As time pass for the later applicants , the waiting time increases in a exponential maner .

There is not way one can say the exact date. But I was told by my attorney as she attended a conference with USCIS regarding U visa and USCIS told that they are hoping to cover JAN or FEB 2014 in this year cap but its not certain.

I haven't found anything, I just judging by the date in DA given to me .

My attorney told me that they have changed the way they used to issue U visa before. Like in previous years they used to issue all 10K U visas in couple of months but this time they will issue by quarter base. So they are trying to end the cut off thing. I mean they can keep issuing U visa until OCT 2017 and from there, new Cap will start. So they just want everyone to keep in wait and hope.
