Uscis processing time.

I just studied USCIS updates on u visa applications from the time I applied, April 2015 until now and realized it's going to take forever to get DA. There were around 50.000 already pending app. when I sent my u visa papers. Until the end of 2016 fiscal year (1 October 2016) another 50.000 applications Uscis received, and there is currently around 87.000 still pending. Conclusion is that in almost 2 years they processed about 13-14 thousand applications only and there is still maybe 35.000 people before me. I guess, a YEARS to wait just for DA. Tired...

Hey Nika,
I've applied in March 2015 and still waiting. Yeah maybe we can hear something end of this year or maybe next year. Getting scared man, since DHS announced these new memos about deporting undocumented immigrants. hopefully we all hear something good soon.

Hi Hussain, yup everybody getting scared, me too as i am mother of one little child and worried about his security in case anything bad happened. Honestly I am losing my hope that I will hear anything this year.. i am afraid we have to wait much longer than a year. Hopefully it won't that bad.

Hello everyone I am new to this site and was reading this post. My husband is waiting for his U visa on December 18, 2014 and we still haven't heard a thing as far as deferred action or the actual US visa. I wanted to share with all of you that our lawyer informed us that my husband should carry with him at all times his recite record from immigration it's may help him in the event his was stopped. It's getting very scary with all the deportations that are happening but hopefully the fact that you are all waiting for a response for the United visa should be enough to prevent deportation. Would greatly appreciate to connect with anyone here to share information. Thank you much and best of luck to everyone.
