What can WE ( U VISA APLICANTS ) DO with ALIEN NUMBER ?

When i apply for u visa i send my application without support letters ( friends, family ). I didnt have anyone here who supported me, only my wife but she is not US citizen. My lawyer told me dont worry about that. So can i be denied becauss i dont have those letters?

Hi Bob,

ALIEN number is nothing but your USCIS file number. It won`t help you to renew your license. For that you will need EAD and that you can get only after granted DA. Once you get the DA you can get the EAD and by that you can get SSN. You will need all these documents to get DL. Generally ALIEN number you need to use to fill up I-9 form which is for the employers to verify you are legal to work for them.

Yes, it is helpfull.
Its really shame that we who are suffered and been helpful dont have any rights first 2/3 years befor u can get any normal documet like EAD.
