Parole Program for U visa

Hi,

Does anyone has any idea when they are going to start the new parole program for those who are on wait list on U visa and granted DA. I heard that they are going introduce new prole program for the immediate relatives of the U visa applicant who are granted DA. Any idea?

USCIS already announcee that program starts in fiscal year 2017. That means you will definitely hear some news on or before Sepmtember, 30th, 2017, end of 2017 fiscal year. Just 8 months more but I expect around June. The law already said that USCIS will grant Deffered Action or Parole but USCIS was not following the policy. After 300 lawyers organization all together signed an advocacy letter and asked to follow, USCIS announced in May 2016 that they agreed to follow and will start in 2017 Fiscal Year. Definitely need to keep hope and just wait. It takes long and its make the documents more valuable when we finally get them. We are in the same boat. Gotta stay positive and support each other. Any worries during wait is very normal to have. But this is just worries and soon will be happy. Lets stay positive.

U are right, only if we support eachothers we can win! But who gonna give bread to people that have been victims for long time and they dont have ead to work legally ? Who will help them in this hard times?

You are right we need bread. But at least you are in the country and I am abroad where I am subject to constant domestic violence and treats by my farther. I think they will secure the boarder first and only after securing the border the immigration reform will happen. Imagine there are 7 billion people in the world. If they announce giving papers to everyone in the U.S. now, then at least 1 billion people is gonna try to come to the U.S. This is 5 times more then the current U.S. population. Then how then gonna manage providing health care, schools, etc. This is why they will secure the border first so that now illegal entrants can come any more, and then pass immigration reform and give papers to those who are here. This was discussed many years ago. Immigration reform will pass but borders need to be secured first. So thats why no need to panick and just wait. During first 4 years they will secure the border and during second 4 years they will pass immigration reform. Within 8 years you will be with local passport. So just wait and dont panick. These are very smart people they will work something out which is good for everyone.
