  • What's the current USCIS status?

    Applied UVISA on August 2014
Deferred action granted December 28th 2016.

Please suggest if I could get the actual UVISA this year IN OCTOBER Fiscal 2017.

Applicants till what which filling date have actually got UVISA AFTER BEING PLACED IN DEFERRED ACTION?

I've noticed many applicants didn't mail I-765 and I-918 together as I did. I wonder if I'm going to receive DA & EAD at the same time...

I mailed I-765 and I-918 together and I didn't receive EAD at the same time. I had to reapply for EAD I sent my application about a month ago.

I mailed it together 765 and 918. But then applied 765 again. They are just sending DA. EAD application is sent again. Hope that helps.

                        Hello,

Applicants needs to filed I-765 twice because I guess when First time applicant apply U Visa (Form I-918) together with I-765 for EAD for 4 years work permit under U Visa eligibility category section (A-19) which is for four years and it will be issue automatically when actual U Visa granted by USCIS, but if applicants got DA letter and USCIS put on waiting list till new Visa available then applicant need to filed again I-765 under section -C (14) for temporary work permit i.e. for 1 or 2 years and for that applicant need to pay $410 fees or they can claim fee waiver. So at present looking at long wait list of DA status holder USCIS will not grant U Visa for any application under process bcs of 10000 quota but they can put application on wait list and grant deferred action letter until U visa available and that's why applicant need to file I-765 twice.

                        All the very best
