        Not necessarily from your state. Immigration is federal subject, any immigration lawyer from any state can take up your case. Look for an attorney who are specialized in U visas. Atty. SHAH who is admin of this forum himself is a successful lawyer helping lot of u visa applicants . Also Atty. DUSTIN BAXTER of Kuck immigration partners is another great lawyer and their fee is very reasonable too.

          I know about howard county. You go to Firn office they will tell you what you have to do. So you was victim in Baltimore county? Where is your case? Do you have victims papers from police?
