    Reciept Number for U-Visa?

    My partner's receipt number on the USCIS site comes up as a receipt for his I-192 (Application for Permission to Enter as Nonimmigrant) - as he came in as Entry Without Inspection.

    His deferred approval for U-Visa came with the same receipt number - is anyone else's like that - or does it say I-918? So for I-918 and I-192 I guess they get assigned the same receipt number??

    Just curious ... my lawyer said it was ok ...
