Receipt number is not valid

Hello, I submitted my U visa application earlier this year and I'm done with my biometrics. However, when I try to track the case online, the website says that the receipt number is not valid. Anybody else faced this situation?

Hi,
I submitted my apllication in March, 2015 Did my biometrics in May, 2015. I had the same situation with the reciept numbers.
Everytime I tried checking my status online its showed me same as yours. however, later around july, 2015 I was able to check my case status. So, I would say don't worry wait couple more week and it should be good.

Thank you for your response. But I did my biometrics in the month of feb 2016. Its been 5 months already. Im not worried about anything. Just wanted to confirm if I wasnt the only one who faced this problem.

I have done biometrics in sep2015. I am having same issue. I called customer care they said for privacy reason they don't display the status of some I918. You need to write a letter to VSC center to check the status

I also have exactly same problem .
But I think no need to worry .
First reason u got ur biometric
Second u can check for other receipt number.

Not for I918. I have applied for I765 as well with my I918. My I765 status is available on uscis case status site.
