        Thank you for sharing the updates, However they mentioned that 10 k cap has not changed so I don't know what will help sending case to NSC from VSC if they already processed application for this year. Hopefully for the next year it will save some effort for VSC.

            Yes, that's what I'm hoping for. Ultimately they have to increase the u visa cap, but atleast this is definitely a step forward.

              Transfer of workload from VSC to NSC may be helpful from next visa year. In any case neither of them going to process the pending applications before Oct. 01,2016 as VSC has already approved DA for 20,000 applicants I.e, 2 year quota. May be they are giving NSC to issue actual visas which were preapproved by VSC. The only benefit we can have is VSC is not going to take 3 months after October to start processing new applications for DA.
