my friend if u are checking USCIS data regularly every month then it is very easy to understand

      Comparison of Reviewing Petition-

As on Dec 31, 2014 - They reviewed up to Aug 9, 2013

As on April 30, 2015 - They reviewed up to May 7, 2014 ( They stop in April Some where )

From May 2015 to even as on today Last processing date is May 7, 2014.

they didn't said when they stop reviewing but after 30th April date is stuck at May 7

and I guess last year they stop reviewing u visa petition during month of April after H1B Quota opened on April 1 ( every year )

April is coming soon, H1B gonna open

I am not official person, I m applicant just like you, I wish everybody get at least EAD

We all U applicant has so many Hardship after applying for u status.

we need to unit and we need to do something.

but most of here on this forum interested to know timeline only.

I just listened to the U visa webinar and the representative from VSC said that the delay in U visa processing times was caused by them having to adjudicate on already conditionally approved cases. A lot of resources were required to update and verify documentation. Also the amount of cases currently pending is huge, but they are working on it. Nothing was mentioned about deferred action cap. Does any exist?

****** Thanks for your update. As you mentioned that you heard " after May 2014 should expect to get the actual U visa in fiscal year 2018/2019". Is it safe to assume that applicants from 2014 is expected to get DA earlier then fiscal year 2018/2019. Did they put transcript of webinar somewhere that we can access.

            Thanks,

I don't think they will give our deferred action. Because until 2015 they got almost 37000 files after denying so many files. It takes time. So I can assume when mine will be available. One of my friend he got the approval after two years he filed in September, 2013. Another friend he went back to his country. He came back today after approval, he filed in 2013. It will take longer time but at least we have hope. Even if you are legal or illegal, it doesn't affect. So don't give up. Thank you

                yes we have hope............
you rite people file in 2013 got approval in 2 years but what about people file in 2014 ?
Do u know how many applications filed after September 2013 ? ......every Quarter 6500.
you will get final approval earliest in 2019 cap.
I wish we all get approval tomorrow but that is not reality.

DA is better if you are in U.S.while you are waiting for actual U visa

But for case specific questions you should contact Vermont Service Center in writing.

Thanks for your answer. As there is a cap of 10 k for U Visas, I am not sure when they will start reviewing application filled in after May 2014...because when they start reviewing those applications then they can issue DA for those applications beyond allocated 10 k Visas...so I am still curious to know if there is cap of 10 k then probably they are not reviewing more applications and pending application lot keeps getting bigger and bigger..

The deferred action (DA) or conditional approval ead has no limitation on it because it is based on deferred action. I doubt they will stop giving them. But let us wait and see.

                        no limit on DA ?

No limit or cap on DA - it doesn't meant they have to give us. They can give or not it's up to them.we cannot force them.it is not mandatory.
Simple question - why they didn't issued any DA after May 7 till date ?
Why they stuck ? This almost one year?

                        please, Just answer this question

                          Shah peerally Sir

No limitations on DA - u forget sir Nos start from 0 ( zero)
After April 2015 - how many DA issued. ? Answer is ZERO. Ok tell - why? Bcoz no limit
if they fixed limit they have to give.
But without limit they can they can not it's up them.
This like Benefits of Doubt in criminal justice system - defendant CAN BE RELEASED free if judge wants on benefits of doubt
Simple why not issuing DA if limit as u said. And ithey not issuing DA bcoz stop working.
if they not stop and working they would have been issued DA.
This is just my logic I may wrong but I m close to truth or reality
Please think again on what u said above.
u will reach to solutions if u find real trouble

DA is not limited the law has no quota. Let us see. It is the same law used for many situations including DACA, asylum pending etc. So we need to be hopeful. Please write your dates on the U visa Tracker I have set on this page.
