I-485 aos june, 2021

Is there anyone who got approved for I 765 or I 485. I applied on June 14, 2021, since then nothing yet. My EAD expired, license expired. DMV in Texas didn’t even renew my DL. Lost my job from Feb, 2021. U visa EAD doesn’t not qualify for auto extension since GC EAD is on C09 category. And also GC EAD was initial ( NEW EAD different category) If I had GC EAD already then it would have auto extension already applied.

U Visa approved FEB 22, 2018

GC file on March 10, 2021 but uscis keep my package for AOS and return it April 19 ( REASON : VISA IS NOT AVAILABLE AT THIS MOMENT) service center : Vermont Service Center

GC file again on April 25 but uscis keep my package for AOS again for 1 month and return it on May 28 with same reason ( VISA NOT AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME) Vermont Service Center

GC file again on June 1 (Send package from USPS 1-3 business days ( package lost, untraceable and again they delivered it on June 12 somehow got lucky ) This time I ask my lawyer to send AOS package to Nebraska Service Center since I live in Texas ( service center shows Nebraska on uscis website ) I guess they don’t check with their supervisor before returning AOS package
This time she add cover letter. ATTN: supervisor or superior attention required.

GC finally filed with received date June 15, 2021
NOTICE DATE JUNE 16, 2021

June 16, fingerprints were taken already

Inquiry on Jan 15, 2022 wrote letter to Vermont and Nebraska service center both to expedite my case ( since my case was at NSC, so customer service told me to Vermont but I sent to both of them service center)

Inquiry on Jan 30, 2022 wrote letter to Vermont to expedite my case

Inquiry on Feb 18, 2022 wrote letter to Vermont to expedite my case

Send letter to the state representative on Feb 19 to expedite my case

FEB 21, EAD expire. Terminate from job
Got call back from state representative on Feb 26
Inquiry on Feb 27 wrote letter to Vermont to expedite my case

sent letter from State Representative to USCIS on behalf from me on March 4 ( MY GUESS )

RFE from USCIS for I 485 ON Feb 29
1. RFE is for medical report,
2. Explanation of Have you ever violated the terms and conditions of your non immigrant status ( it was from Page no. 10 From I485 page question no. 17 I lost my status so they need explanation of when you lost your status and when you got back. I was in deportation process ( removal proceedings since 2013 Nov ) I have to give them explanation
3. Employment history prior to Feb 28 ,2016
Since I didn’t work before that, I just have to write them letter.
4. Sign the I485 paper again

Replied RFE on April 4 to USCIS

Since then I call them 2 times a week to uscis coz I don’t have anything to do at home beside bothering them. I know they ll say same answer, write a letter to Vermont Service Center every week until you get response which I did.

Sorry to hear about the whole situation. It is really painful and I know what you are going through. I do have a valid 2 year EAD at the moment but I still check my case daily and just wrote two letters to Vermont Service Center in the hopes to expedite my AOS. It is pending for over 18 months now.

I do have a valid 2 year EAD at the moment but I still check my case daily and just wrote two letters to Vermont Service Center in the hopes to expedite my AOS. It is pending for over 18 months now.

May 11, 2022

CASE WAS APPROVED. We approved your form I-485 application to register permanent residence or adjust status. We sent you approval notice.

May 13, Card was picked up by USPS

May 13, Received Approval Notice for I-485 approval on my lawyer address as well as on my physical address too.

Tracking number is generated and is scheduled to deliver it tomorrow at my lawyer address. I just confirmed by calling USPS.




Finally my green card is approved almost after 10 years. Started those process since 2012 from

The day I got robbed but couldn’t find a right educated lawyer to file it and end up filing on July 2014.

I know I might be the first one who got approved for the very first time in less than 11 months. If you read my first post, then you ll understand how many times I have tried to expedite my case. I sent them letter from Jan to both Vermont and Nebraska, then sent letter another letter To Vermont when I had a job. After I lost my job, I sent them another 3 letters and also call my state Representative to expedite my case. Also whenever I try to expedite, I write a letter to expedite my case including the impact of loosing my job and become unemployment and also send them every monthly bill, cc bill, insurance bill, cell phone bill, Rent due bill, expired DL (since dmv in Texas won’t let me renew my DL), expedite request from my job on behalf of me when I had job, HR asking me to do I-9 verification of my job, immigration specialist asking me to I-9 verification at my job, all kind of supporting documents I print them and send it to them like 3-4 times when I had a job. After I lost my job, same kind of expedite letter explaining I lost my job including all those bills and termination letter from my job. It is used to be around 15-25 pages. When they ask me RFE, I had about 250 pages long. Including medical report and 3-5 years of presence ( since they ask me from 2016 March ) sent them every month bill from 2018 Feb - 2022 Feb ), tax return pages from 2016- 2021, every color copies of passport, hospital bill, I bought some auto in between those period and send them every other consecutive bill for proof of address, insurance bill with proof of address, Letter from myself stating that I haven’t left US since the day I got U visa and letter stating that I lost my status in 2013 Nov and got deferred action on 2016 and got my status back on 2016. I have upload my receipts since some of us won’t trust this because some haven’t got any I485 approval even they had applied from Nov 2020

NOPE I HAVENT GOT THE EAD OR AP CARD APPROVAL NOTICE. Its directly Green card.
