Hello everyone,
I just got phone call from my lawyer that my U visa got approved from Vermont Service Center.
U visa receipt date: 22 July, 2014
Notice date : 28 July, 2014
RFE : somewhere in May,2015
Reply a month late since my lawyer change her address : sep,2015
Then lots of inquiries made after RFE submitted No reply
DA work permit approved : 28 March, 2016 - 27 March 2018 ( 2 years EAD )
Inquiry made since I didn’t get my DA letter saying I am on deferred status and on waiting list for U VISA: date : Nov 25, 2017 at USCIS office by myself at Irving, Texas.
DA letter approved: 11 October, 2017
Today she call me FEBRUARY 26, 2018 letting me know that my u visa got approve after 3 years and 7 month.
My lawyer scan and email me the letter of Final U VISA approved. Since I lost my PO BOX key yesterday.
Final u visa approval date : FEBRUARY 22, 2018

I was on waiting list since october 2017. I apply for renew of my EAD on 11/18/2017 receipt date by paying $410 applications charge but they did not send me renewal EAD. They directly send me approval letter.
Hope you will get yours approval letter soon.

I follow different mediums and someone from July 22 and 28 got the actual u visa,i think your approval is on its way.

You ll be getting soon. Since I applied for renewal for EAD on November 17, 2017 but instead of sending me renewal EAD, they send me U visa approval notice. You will hear from your lawyer pretty soon. I know the waiting time is so frustrating but all we can do is just wait.
My DA work permit was approved on March 2016 but DA letter U visa waitlist received on 2017 October. Its so strange that without even DA letter I got my work permit. My lawyer say that I qualify for u visa that’s why I get work permit. Some cases are different. Some depend upon the lawyer too of how they contact with immigration office. I went to USCIS office my making info pass appointment then only I got my DA letter coz I saw lots of post here saying they got DA letter and later applied for EAD. I applied EAD with my U visa application form.
