  • The check for the Work Permit was deposited...

Does anyone know if this is a good sign or not?

The check we sent for the work permit was cashed by USCIS, but I'm not sure if it means they're processed it or not.

I mean...I find it hard to believe honestly. I still see people from 2014 waiting. But today on my back account I saw the check I used to pay for the work permit. That got me thinking... do they cash when they get it or when they process it?

Hoping someone has a similar case and can share with us.

Like any other government, they cash the check first. and work later. they always take your money first and then they will decide/work on your case. No body just keeps money on table.

O! Yaa! That’s true. Did not u apply for fee waiver. The filling fee for work permit is waived when u apply for the first time.??

I sent the application separately. I didn't sign a waiver. Now I regret.
