Be happy and content with what you got so far. If you do not know, FYI there are some members who have been waiting for either DA or EAD since june 2014, so please do not rub salt on the deep emotional bruises already inflicted by the errant handling of u visa program. If you got out of turn for reasons better known to God and VSC, Congratulations!!!

Hey Namaste, Good to hear that you got Work permit and when did you got DA ? Is that from VSC or NSC

VSC I believe I got th DA on October 2015 but I will update my information as soon as I look for my paper I have the in the save 📦

Thank you for being one of those thousands of applicants who visit this forum just to know the developments and the timelines of other members and also double thank you for helping the members right from your joining (at last) creating confusion with your very first out of 7 posts so far. Sorry for reminding you that you were confused with your own timeline too.

Please, don't get me wrong, I am not bothered about you getting DA /EAD out of turn. It's not your fault being lucky. I am rather agitated with the working of this program without any proper pattern or system and trampling down it's core values and principles of adjudication. I am not worried about being left out either because I know I am not alone, there are thousands of applicants waiting from june/July 2014. I feel sorry about those whose daily lives are disturbed without jobs, driving licence. Atleast I have something to bank on.

If you want to know about any new development, Please keep visiting this forum some active members will surely share the information.

As per my knowledge there are many cases which got approved within 3-6-9 months filed after 2014 or even 2015. it depends about your case and agency of certification.
victims get certification with DHS, FBI, NSA, CIA, Police or other intelligence departments every certification weigh differently.
Eg; there is a visa called S visa which gives immediate status to victim who is very precious for case judgment, higher law enforcement have authority to issue/give S visa
that have quota of only 200 per year but requires higher authorities involvement, approval, documentation and paper work instead they prefer U or T certification which ever victim comes under.

You.visa, Please read this completely once again, to understand S visa program is entirely different and has nothing to do with U visa. You said cases certified by nsa and cia get special treatment under u visa program and some cases from 2015 also recieved DA shows you have some very special source of information. I guess all those cases from 2014 and 2015 approved out of turn must have been certified by nsa/cia, right?

Y'all are lucky,I filed on September 14' and haven't heard anything,my case was transferred to NVC on November of the same year,I've been waiting on motion to reopen for three months;I already file adjustment of status, I ain't ****ing around with U visa no more,good luck fellas,I'll let you guys know how that denial turned out

Hmmmmm... i don't want to prove you are wrong same time what info i provided is not at all wrong
As well i don't want to argue on this matter but would like to ask you, Whom did you contacted for your U visa case pending issue?
did you contacted Senate of your state? did you contacted Ombudsman? did you contacted Congressmen for help?
yes, above peoples help all immigrant and non-immigrants for this kinda visa issues and they helped me forwarding my case.

Copying information and pasting from online sources is easy but when it comes to reality there will be some changes.
for your kind information at the time of my case happened after my interview with govt agency i got same day DA and EAD within "15 business days" without paying EAD Fee (including finger print went next day appointment) but that DA and EAD can't be renewed once case closed.

Above information is not to argue or hurt anyone feelings this info is real and i won't get any profit or credit for this.

No, I don't have contacts like you in wide political spectrum, bureaucracy and judiciary to influence any govt or court decision in my favour. I have to depend on my attorney for any help and wait with thousands of other applicants like me.

But thank you, every time I learn about new things from you. The latest one is.... everybody should have contacts in the political circle and government agencies to influence your individual cases and get your DA EAD immediately.
Btw, nobody pays a single penny to this visa unless you want to pay because it's free.

Thank you very much for your contribution on this forum. My elder son who is waiting for DA since July 2014, has been tried hard to know progress of his case status or DA letter by sending letter to Congressman, but all they reply "Your case is in queue'. Since he has not attorney all communication with VSC is done by us our own way and off course with lots of guidance from this forum. I believe the applicant who's case transferred to NSC is little more lucky then who is with VSC.

BTW for YOU.VISA comment all I can say that he might have extra ordinary sources with USCIS and I wish He will get GC in short future instead of waiting 3 year physical present in USA.

Here I am proud to repeat my Prime Minister Mr Narendra Modi's slogan " Achhe Din Aayenge". Prince.Suhailbhai, Scorpian & some other senior member of this forum you guys doing great job and keep updating us your experience, knowledge. It will be means a lot for me and thousands of other like me.

In three months I'll be able to get DA through adjustment of status,9 months for a conditional green card ain't crazy?,USCIS should speed Up the process on U status;three years though waiting on U Visa application and not a sign,freaking sucks man,I'll keep you guys posted about that denial on U visa so you know what to expect if you find yourself in that situation,by the way if any of you live in Nashville TN area write this down...never ever go to Mario Ramos law firm for inmigration advice,he ****ing sucks,and charges a fortune...just to give you an idea,just for AOS he charges $10,000,my lawyer only asked me $2,000,good luck to you all

:-D thanks, Ajay, for your wish and yeah will try to get it, if i have it in my luck i'll get it in a year also, with all this conversation i came to conclusion that few of us are frustated and without reading complete post spiting anger and/or sarcasticly answering. i don't have political or judicial contacts but i understood law by experiencing it not by hearing it. hope you all get your dreams come true.
