Green card not received yet

Hello All,

I am a little bit worried I did not received my green card yet and was hoping to see if someone had the same experience on this forum. I went to the biometric appointment last year 10/11/2016 for a renewal of my second green card supposedly for 10 years, so I have been waiting for 7 month already and nothing in the mail.

I tried to check my status on the USCIS with my WAC number but there is indication whether my card was sent or not.

Should I take any action or wait more time...

You need to check the processing time, depends which office is working in your case. You can also call to USCIS and ask them

Thank you for your message, how do I check the processing time?

I called USCIS multiple time they couldn't tell me when my greencard will arrive neither a status on my case. I just hope my greencard wasn't lost by the post office or something.

In the bottom of your receipt notice from USCIs you can see which service center is working in your case and then go to this link

Also with your receipt number you can check the status online

Thanks, I called USCIS today they told me my case is good, they are still working on cases from June 20, 2016, I guess I just have to wait more...

For those interested, the paper I received I-797 Notice of action (I-751 Receipt notice) is now expired, so I had to take a infopass appointment so they can stamp my passport for another year.
this should allow me to travel and prove to my employer that my case still pending and I am eligible to work legally.

I have been waiting for my greencard for more than a year now, my case was submitted in august last year and they are still working people from June of last year.

Crossing finger I'll received my green card soon...

Today I finally received my green card!! I had to wait for more than a year, exactly 465 days from the bio-metric appointment to the reception of my green card.

Hope this info help anyone else on the same boat, if you are renewing your green card for a second time expect to wait a long time at least 465 days!

Congrats! My brother has applied for green card renewal 2 weeks ago and is waiting for interview where his biometrical data will be taken. According to information here
