    Extension of Stay on B2 Visa

    Hi Mr Shah Peerally,
    My name is Uday Mudumba and I have my parents here in US on B2-visa. Their current I-94 is going to expire on Aug24th 2015. I have applied for the extension of stay on Jul 10th 2015(receipt notice). I am still waiting for the decision from USCIS. I need a consultation/recommendation here on how to approach this situation since their actual departure date is approaching. Do they need to leave as per actual plan if we don't receive any decision from USCIS or can they stay until decision is made? Will their be any consequences if they stay until decision is made and the application is denied? will it complicate things if they have plans to visit to US in future(I am sure indeed they have plans). Please provide appropriate guidance here. Thanks in advance.

    As long as pending you are pretty much safe, but if denied then yes you might have issues on the multiple entry visa being cancelled. Please call 510 742 5887 for a consultation.
