29 Jan 2022- Case transferred to Nebraska
June 2022- I-765 filed
July 2022 - got updated in my Uscis account that fingerprints were applied to I-765.
now waiting.

I guess your (Bamsan) case transferred on 21 Dec 2021.
no, I applied I-765 in July 2022 as it is saying on uscis website if you haven’t applied while filing I-918, you should apply now. I come to know people from Jan and Feb 2018 got BFD. It was in my friends Facebook group.

EAD is not received yet.

Anybody aware how long it takes? I applied for EAD along with U visa application. Also, my spouse filed i-765 April 2018, a month later our case was opened. Any thoughts how long it might take for her to receive here EAD?

Congrats Perisha92 , you can create an account on uscis and add your I-765 receipt number after that you will be able to see updates about your EAD or just go to uscis website and put your I-765 receipt number to get latest updates. Usually you will get EAD with in a week or 2 because you already applied for EAD long ago ..but every case is different.

July 2022 - got updated in my USCIS account that fingerprints were applied to I-765.
now waiting.

Question: On my USCIS account, my U visa case info is blank (doesn't contain any information). If USCIS send me a REF for example, would they update that information online? All letters goes to my lawyer, I just worried about lost letters.

New card is being produced 10/27/2022
Case was approved 10/28/2022

Approximate 7 mts for EAD from Vermont
No update on spouse EAD, still saying “ Finger print were taken”

Looks like there is a pause after Mar/Apr 2018. I haven't heard of anyone whose case was transferred or BFD EAD issued for applicants after Apr 2018.

Guys, just want to share my experience:-

filed u visa (918) - 30 March 2018
biometric taken :- April 2018
filed I765 in June 2022 (because did not filed along with I918, so don’t want to wait another 8 months after BFD approval letter etc)
July 2022 - they used/applied my biometrics for I765 because they took my biometrics when I initially applied for i918
29 Dec 2022 - I765 case transferred to another office
guys my case was transferred for 5-6 times

16 Feb 2023- today I checked and my EAD card got produced. I’m so happy and hope you guys get urs soon.

your attorney is wrong, with 4 year ead means you passed initial review and almost 90% chances to get visa
