I applied for U-visa in March 2017, and so far case is not transferred and still waiting for decision from vermont center. Is anybody from 2017 got any news on their U-visa's. Please post.

We are January 31, 2017 Vermont service center also still nothing, the only movement I have seen was on our I765 application updated to show fingerprints taken. Husband has two friends here in Ohio that received 4 year EAD October 26th and October 29th. one from october 2016, the other from August 2016. All I know is both cases from Nebraska. -
I am from 2017 July and Oct 2020 got mail case transfer to Nebraska center August 2021 applied for work permit is anyone got anything case transfer to Vermont to Nebraska is good or what please replyComment

Finally wait is over. I am from January 2017. Today I got call from lawyer that My case has been approved and I can apply for Work Permit.

recently i wrote to my senators asking for case assistance stating that my case is outside normal processing times based on USCIS congressional report(Aug 2021) and USCIS reply to DHS OIG audit.

This is probably a BFD approval so our chances of U visa approval are higher considering they see our cases have some merit. And I'm assuming there'll be another adjudication when they actually process the visa.Comment
