  • U Visa after order of deportation

Hey guys I need help, I am considering to file a u visa application based on some domestic violence case against me the police is currently investigating.

The tricky part here is that sometime back in 2012 I lost an asylum case appeal with BIA although my lawyer told me that is an automatic order of deportation. However I never got any letter from anyone saying you have been ordered deported. If I check my case against the national number it says they no information about my case number.

Now I have read most of the threads here and I could tell it takes quite a while for this to get approved. Now based on my own case, what will be the timeline for me if any? I am going to most def reach out to an attorney but wouldn't hurt to ask here first.
