    H4 to H4-EAD with approved I-140

    Hello Mr. Peerally,
    I am currently on H-4. I have an approved I-140 filed by my previous employer and I have used 5 years of my H-1b.
    Now if I take H4 EAD,
    1) What will happen to my H1B visa and I-140? Will it be invalidated?
    3) If in the future I decide to get back to H1b and go through the GC process, will I be able to get H-1b without going through the quota and use my previously filed I-140?

    1. The H1 will stop but you can always bring it back. See article on www.H4toEAD.com
    2. Unless the company cancels the I-140 - you can be on H4 and still keep it.
