H4 EAD - Travel to India while application is processing

Hi

I am currently in I-140 approved status and on H1 Extension. I am planning to apply EAD for my wife on May 26th. I have a travel plan to India during June of this year. Could you please let me know whether we can travel while the EAD application is in process. In the I-765 application we need to mention the last entry date and port to US. Since we are travelling while the application is processing, can we put the details prior to the travel in the I-765 application

We are not recommending any travel during the application. It is better, come back on the H4 then apply on the h4 ead. Feel free to call us at 510 742 5887 if you need help applying.
