    COS H4 to F1 approved, can i visit India

    Hello,
    I came to US on H4 visa and currently studying MBA. I just got my COS approved to F1.
    I wanted to know the process and risks involved in getting visa stamped in India if I visit in near future. Is it common for someone with COS visa getting passport stamping done back in India (with all the important documents duly collected from university)?

    Depending on the school you are joining, the risk can be minimal. If you have an H4 stamp then you do not need to worry. If you are going to a good school, the chances of approval is high.
