  • Date/Port of entry AR-11 mistake.

    Hi,

I had filled AR-11 online form early this year in January 2014 when I moved from another state to California.

But while going through my documents now, I noticed that for Port/Date of entry I have entered my first date/port of entry into US (march 2013). But I had gone on vacation outside US in between last year(dec 2013). (The port of entry are different in both travels)

Do you state first entry or latest entry? I have stated first date/port of entry.

    1) Will I have to file some kind of amended AR-11 to correct this?
    2) But now it is more than 10 days since my move, so if I refile AR-11 with latest date/port of entry will I be penalized?

    Appreciate you comments on this.
