H1B Visa stamping after 6 years with new employer

I have completed 6 years of my H1B by last February; but I changed my employer in December of last year. I have approved I-140 on behalf of my old employer.

Based on I-140, I got 3 more years of extension, my new employer will start my green card only after 6 months. Now, I need to go to India for personal work, if I go to India, I need to go for Visa stamping interview.

My questions are,
1) Can I use my old employer I-140 at the time of interview?
2) What I need to tell if they ask for new employer's green card petition?

Well actually you do not need to use the I-140 you just need to show it was approved at the time when the extension was done. However, there are other factors which can come in. I will recommend talking to your company attorney or call us at 510 742 5887 for a full consultation before you leave.
