    STEM Extension - Application for extension under New Rule

    Hi,
    I did BS in Biology and later MBA .Currently on OPT, which is going to expire in April.
    The MBA degree major is not eligible for STEM extension and I would like to apply for STEM extension based on my Bachelors Degree .
    Since the new rule is going to be implemented from May 10, shall I have to wait till that date to apply for extension or can I apply for the extension right now .
    Because my OPT will end on April 10 and what status I will be on from April 10 to May 10?
    Since I have availed the 12 month OPT, how many months of extension I am going to get under the new rule?
