F1 stamping on OPT/ H4 stamping NEED TO TRAVEL

    F1 stamping on OPT/ H4 stamping NEED TO TRAVEL

    1. I did a COS from H4 to F1, and recently got OPT- EAD (start date 26 may)I am travelling to India in April-23 May (b4 the start date). I do not have an offer letter yet and have to get F1 stamped in India. Is it too risky to get F1 stamped on OPT without offer letter? Is applying to H4 in India the best option?
    2. If I apply for H4 in India will my OPT be automatically cancelled? or I have to notify and cancel my OPT?

      It is very hard to get a stamp while on OPT even though you have an offer letter. However in certain cases they do give the stamp. Right now they might not so be careful.
