I am on an F-1 visa, which expires in July 2014. I am still continuing my studies in a different field of study(second masters) and am maintaining a valid status. My I-94 validity is D/S. I understand that i do not have to file for an F-1 extension as long as I am not travelling out of the country, but do I have to apply for an extension of I-94, even if I am not travelling?
