Fi Visa and Pregnancy

I am curious to know if a woman who was on H4 has recently moved to F1 visa and is pregnant now, what happens to her status. More specifically 2 questions:
- Does she have to go back to H4 visa or can she take a break and still maintain her status of F1?
- If she goes back on H4 would she have to follow the same procedure to come back to F1 or her credits would be accounted for and she can start from where she had dropped? By this question more specifically I am trying to understand will she get OPT and CPT?

Well it will be good to go back on H4 but if the school give you an official break, which they usually do they can keep the F1 alive. Talk to the DSO
