Revoke F1 Visa petition

Hi,

My wife is currently on H4 and she applied for F1 visa petition and she has received RFI from USCIS. We have all the documents requested in the RFI however, recently my company started application process for GC and due to this change in plan we do not wish to pursue F1 visa anymore and continue on H4 till GC is received.

How can we revoke the request/petition of F1 while we have RFI on F1? Can we just send a letter stating that we do not wish to pursue the visa status change?

You just have to send a letter and request to withdraw the case or in the RFE letter send the withdrawal or just ignore the RFE, the case should be denied and withdrawn.
