  • can i applicable for accidental claim ?

I am Jonathan, working as a delivery person in a India based company in New york, US. Last month when i was going for delivery of some packeges i was hit by a car, and in that accident my left leg had broken. But the company did not pay any claim on my injury. The company owner refuse to pay anything. Assuming that claim would lie in India, I contacted with Simranjeet law Associates, a corporate law firm in Chandigarh (http://simranlaw.com/corporate/). But they have suggested that I should talk to a lawyer in US. But I want to know some basic law by myself. My question relates to US law (State of New York). I want to know basic concepts of Employment and Labor Law in US. A few good links to US legal websites.

    Regards
    Jonathan
