How long does someone have to stay with the company after getting the GC?

I have heard that you need to stay with the company around 6 months after you receive the GC. Someone told me it does not really matter. What is the right answer?

Well unfortunately there is no right answer. You can leave right away and not trigger any suspicion and you can leave after a long time and still trigger a suspicion and an investigation. The real test is whether the GC was obtained in fraud? If not then everything is alright for you. Usually it is accepted that 6 months employment after the GC is good but there are no rules on this.

Well it depends on the company policy. If you read their policy before signed the endorement. then you must know the rules and regulations of the company.

He is right you must contact with legal persons of your company so that you get exact time period that required for getting GC.
