    Timeline for Marriage consular Processing (K1 and I-1130)

    After you file the I-130, it takes around 3-6 months to be approved. The K1 (fiancee) takes around 4 months to be approved. The case after approval goes to the National Visa Center for approval (NVC). This takes around 4 weeks if prepared correctly.
