Thank you for asking this question. There might be a lot of reasons that the case is delayed namely background check not complete, the paperwork was not completed accordingly. However 60 days is not such a long wait. I will recommend you wait another 30days and contact the US Embassy again. Then try to reach out to a Congress person who can do an inquiry. If this does not work, then you definitely need to talk to an attorney...Good Luck
