  • Proofs for Removal of Conditional Residence

If you obtained your permanent residence prior to two years anniversary of your marriage, you have to remove your conditional residence 1 year and nine month jointly or if divorced or abused you can file immediately after divorce or separation after abuse.
USCIS now has taken the position that you need to prove your marriage from Day 1 in order to have this petition removed. Therefore you need to put a number of evidence including bills, insurance policies, leases, pictures from the date of the marriage to the date of filing. Make sure you comply otherwise you might face some major complications....call us at 510 7425887, should you have any questions!
