    Re-entry permit renewal for 3rd time

    I want to extend my and my wife's re-entry permit. My current re-entry permit is expiring on 4th Nov 2016.
    I am in India and got re-entry permit extended two times already. I am out for family reason (need to take care of my parents, due to their health reason). I may come back to US permanently by 1 year.

    2 questions:
    1. How difficult to get re-entry permit 3rd time ? I still have bank a/c, 401k a/c, credit card.
    2. Once I get finger print notice, can I get that done in other city like New York ? Say the application is applied by Shah Peerally from SFO.
