    Question EAD on any non immigrant visa

    Hi,

    I would like to know if someone has applied for a u visa from outside USA and he has got the DA. Can he travel on any other visa such as B2(tourist visa) and apply for EAD and change his status?

    EAD

    EAD not possible on tourist visa.
    If he can enter in usa on tourist visa.
    Then he can apply EAD on basis of DA.

    update here we like to know what happened bcoz I doubt they will stop entering country.

    U can AP earliest the day u fly.

    You can apply but not recommended because you might be subject to unlawful presence and be barred from entry.
