Travelling to mexico for visa stamping

I applied in Sep 2014 and i got actual U visa and work authorization in oct 2018. I'm travelling to Mexico next week for visa interview to get U visa stammped on my passport so I can travel frequently to visit my family. Please suggest if anyone travelled out of country for visa interview and documents required.

I never heard of such thing, unless you are out of the country to begin with.
If you already have a UVisa why would you have to leave for an interview for a UVisa?

@DAR - You need to carry all your passports (current and previous)
all of your approval copies - i797 (previous if any as well)
    and any form of identification

    I think thats about it.

@Providence, do you know why anyone would have to go to an interview after he has a U Visa?
    I'm so confused.
