                      U-VISA applied in late July of 2014
                      USCIS received my case on 08-05-2014
                      Biometric was taken in mid September of 2014

                          Application received by USCIS on June 23, 2015.
                          USCIS sent a notice of received application on June 29, 2015.
                          Biometric taken on July 28, 2015.
                          I had to resign from my job and unable to volunteer either due to unclear status until now.....living with a young son and in debts, waiting for some good news.

                                              You should be getting it soon but keep in mind that they have people still awaiting approval who filed June July 2014.
