Turkey Travel Warning – US Department of State Website!

The U.S. Department of State continues to warn U.S. citizens of increased threats from terrorist groups throughout Turkey. U.S. citizens should avoid travel to southeast Turkey and carefully consider the risks of travel to and throughout the country. The U.S. Department of State is updating this Travel Warning to reflect the October 29, 2016, decision to order the departure of family members of employees posted to the U.S. Consulate General in Istanbul, Turkey. The Department of State made this decision based on security information indicating extremist groups are continuing aggressive efforts to attack U.S. citizens in areas of Istanbul where they reside or frequent. According to CBS News CBS News reports dozens of immigrants have been streaming through the streets of McAllen, Texas, on a daily basis. They have been taken to a migrant center at Sacred Heart Catholic Church where they were released by Border Patrol, with ankle monitors, while they file for asylum.

Lost hope for Millions of Undocumented Immigrants

Today the US Supreme Court on a 4-4 tie decision refused to hear the case to reverse the decision in US v Texas. Texas and many other states filed a lawsuit to block President Obama to actually help millions of undocumented immigrants to obtain a work permit. A federal court granted the injunction lawsuit to Texas. The government appealed to the US Supreme court but a divided US Supreme Court refused to hear the case or wait for an additional judge.
